Certified Specialist in Orthodontics
Dr. Singer spent two additional years after dental school studying orthodontics in an orthodontic program accredited by the American Dental Association, qualifying him as an orthodontic specialist. Dr. Singer practices orthodontics full-time and does not practice any general dentistry.

Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontists
In 1992, Dr. Singer completed qualifications to be a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This achievement is the highest level of accomplishment in orthodontics. Only 20% of orthodontists attain such status.

For fifteen years, Dr. Singer was one of only two board-certified orthodontists in Broward county and one of only three in Boca Raton. He is presently the only lifetime diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists in Broward county and the only one with board recurrency certification in 2007.

Member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists.
The College sponsors programs to assist orthodontists in becoming board-certified. The College also sponsors superb educational seminars every year for the benefit of its members. Dr. Singer is the only member of the College of Diplomates of the ABO in Broward County and one of only two members in Boca Raton.

Dental Study Club Member and Advisor
Dr. Singer is a member of and orthodontic advisor to local dental study clubs. The study clubs bring together all members of the dental team including general dentists, prosthodontists, endodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons and orthodontists, in consultation with each other, to use their combined efforts to optimize the treatment planning for patients with complex dental problems. Dr. Singer is committed to continuing education and working with your dentist and other specialists to offer you the optimum in interdisciplinary care.

Associate Professor of Orthodontics
Dr. Singer is on faculty at the local Dental School, Department of Graduate Orthodontics. Regular conferencing with other educators and teaching enables Dr. Singer to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthodontics as well as keep him sharp on all current knowledge. Dr. Singer teaches the didactic courses in cephalometric analysis, indirect bonding and non-extraction mechanotherapy, as well as clinical instruction.

Member of the Cleft Palate Team of Broward County
Dr. Singer has been a member of the Cleft Palate Team of Broward County since 1989, participating in the team approach (pediatrics, plastic surgery, ENT, speech, audiology, orthodontics, genetics) for the rehabilitation of cleft palate patients and other children with various craniofacial deformities. Dr. Singer is one of only two orthodontic practices in Broward County participating on the cleft palate team and member of the Florida Cleft Palate Association.

Member of the American Lingual Orthodontic Association
Dr. Singer has treated hundreds of patients with invisible (lingual) braces, behind the teeth, since 1982. Dr. Singer is one of the few local orthodontists to offer this service and is one of the most experienced lingual orthodontists in south Florida.

Dr. Singer has over 25 years of experience in orthodontics - making him one of the most experienced in Broward County and Boca Raton. He has treated thousands of satisfied patients with every type of orthodontic problem and has utilized every type of appliance including several of his own design.
